Additionally, Ryan’s second area of focus is Developmental and Relationship Trauma Therapy (DARTT). This training has equipped him to assist individuals in comprehending how their life experiences, spanning from childhood to the present, have shaped their life narratives and the impact they have on their relationships in the present day. Ryan is also trained in Attachment-focused EMDR (AF-EMDR), a powerful tool that can facilitate trauma healing beyond the therapeutic process of simply discussing trauma. Furthermore, Ryan is equipped to incorporate the role of faith into healing journeys and address the impact of spiritual trauma.

Jodi Haley

Jodi Haley | Cincinnati & Virtual

LPCC, MPTM, EMDR Trained
Jodi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a passion for working with individuals navigating the many stressors of life, as well as supporting couples and families as they seek to reconcile and restore relationships. She is trained in EMDR, EFT, DBT, CBT, IFS, and a variety of other therapeutic modalities.
Humans are created for connection and are born equipped to form secure attachments with those they rely on for safety, security, companionship, and love. When someone experiences betrayal by a person they trust, the nervous system can become locked in survival mode, activating fight, flight, or freeze responses for extended periods of time. Living in a prolonged state of high alert and stress can take a significant toll on both physical and emotional health. Individuals impacted by betrayal trauma often experience rumination, hypervigilance, trust difficulties, self-doubt, over-control, and intense feelings of confusion, fear, anger, and sadness, and may begin to question their own reality. Her EMDR training is particularly well suited for this work, as it allows clients to calm their nervous systems by reprocessing and desensitizing memories that have become “stuck,” even after years of insight or talk therapy.
She is excited to continue her work at Counseling Alliance and is currently pursuing certification and advanced training through the Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists, with a focus on the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model. Betrayal trauma is a specialty she holds close to her heart, and she is deeply committed to walking alongside those experiencing emotional distress due to violations of trust and attachment injuries. Together, clients work toward building emotional safety, developing practical skills, and nurturing resilience so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Sarah Fry | Virtual

MAPM, BCC, SD
Over the years, I’ve come to believe that while information and tools are important for making progress, what truly makes the difference is support. When someone walks alongside us on the journey toward healing and growth, our efforts are multiplied.
It’s a deep honor for me to be that kind of presence—a “walk-alongsider.” The biblical word for this is paraclete—one who is called alongside to help, support, and advocate. That’s the heart of what I feel called to do.
I bring a unique blend of perspectives from my background as a pastoral counselor, pastor’s wife, mental health coach, and spiritual director. I’m particularly passionate about neuroplasticity—the incredible way we can actually rewire our brains through intentional thought and habit change.
My heart is especially tender toward those who carry a wounded view of God. I believe healing is possible, and that we can learn to feel His love in real and transformative ways. As a mom of six, I also understand the beautiful chaos of home life and parenting. If you're in the thick of it, I’m here for that too.
If you're looking for support on your journey—whether emotional, spiritual, or practical—I would be honored to walk alongside you.

  • Managing overwhelm
  • Moving from inertia into progress

Kaylee Gesler | Cincinnati & Virtual

Counselor Trainee
I’m currently working toward my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I really care about walking alongside people as they move through different seasons of life. The way I approach counseling is both relational and collaborative. I want to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard and valued and where you can show up exactly as you are without worrying about judgment.

My hope is that clients feel comfortable sharing what’s on their mind and working through things at a pace that feels right for them. I don’t see counseling as something that needs to be rushed, but more as a space where trust can build over time and where people feel safe being honest about what they’re experiencing.

I’m really passionate about helping people grow in their confidence and develop a stronger sense of who they are and where they’re headed. I genuinely believe growth and healing are possible, even when things feel unclear or stuck.

I am committed to continuing to grow as a clinician while showing up fully present and engaged with every client I work with. It is truly an honor to walk alongside people as they tell their stories and move toward the life they want."
