We now offer multiple formats. The one-day JUMPSTART TO HEALING® has proven to be very popular so it will continue to be an option. However, JUMPSTART TO HEALING® programs can now be extended to as long as five days. These extended intensives are available for a variety of topics including

How Does JUMPSTART TO HEALING® Work?
JUMPSTART TO HEALING® intensives are designed to provide workable action steps that will enable participants to move toward healing. The program begins with an assessment of your, or your loved one's, needs before the dates of treatment. As a result, treatment is tailored to the each person’s particular needs.
Our programs are designed in one-day to multi-day formats. This model keeps inline with the Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) model offered by other mental health centers. Likewise, it allows us to be flexible to a personal and groups schedules.
The number of clients at any given JUMPSTART TO HEALING® intensive is limited. Keeping the number of clients small allows therapists to provide individualized attention. Our intensives typically include individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and medical staff access for further evaluation as necessary.
What Is Involved with JUMPSTART TO HEALING®?
Before beginning any JUMPSTART TO HEALING® intensive program...
You will have multiple conversations and complete some assessments to help us get to know you and your goals more fully. If you are new to Counseling Alliance™ a primary therapist will be designated and will work with you to clarify those goals. If you are coming from a distance and already have a therapist we, with your permission, will speak with them to get their perspective on the best approach to treatment. Our goal is to help you meet your needs, not just run you through a program.
Your intensive program may consist of any or all of the following goals:
- Crisis management
- Trauma therapy
- Skill building (communication, conflict resolution, coping skills, etc.)
- Insight oriented therapies such as psychodrama
- Targeting specific problem areas within an individual's life or within a relationship.
The JUMPSTART TO HEALING® program will provide you with detailed and concrete recommendations for change. Many of our clients often see great success from their efforts during the intensive therapy and treatment experience as a result.
